Phase I of the Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. (EHE) initiative is focused on 48 counties, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Washington, District of Columbia, along with seven states (Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, and South Carolina) with a substantial HIV burden in rural areas.
